World Gym Corporation (2762.TW), owner of the World Gym brand, reported second-quarter 2026 net profit attributable to the parent company of NT$219.3 million (US$6.94 million), up 0.07% from the previous quarter and 175.1% from a year earlier. Revenue rose 4.97% quarter on quarter and 8.84% year on year to NT$2.951 billion, supported by membership and personal-training revenue. Gross margin increased 5.55 percentage points year on year to 21.39%, operating margin reached 11.03% and EPS rose to NT$2.01 from NT$0.73 a year earlier. The board approved a second-quarter cash dividend of NT$1.81 per share. First-half revenue rose 9.1% to NT$5.763 billion, net profit increased 2.4-fold to NT$438 million and EPS reached NT$4.01, exceeding the previous full-year figure of NT$3.75. World Gym opened or began presales for 10 new sites in the first half, including its first club in Thailand, and is preparing presales for its first directly operated overseas club. July revenue rose 7.9% year on year to NT$989 million, while revenue for the first seven months increased 8.9% to NT$6.75 billion, both setting notable records. The company plans to expand its HYROX collaboration, roll out Pilates programs and launch a health-management platform.
