Hua Nan Financial Holdings (2880.TW) reported first-half 2026 net profit of NT$17.36 billion ($548.3 million), up 58% year-over-year, with EPS of NT$1.25. Seven-month net profit reached a record NT$20.65 billion ($652.1 million), up 38%, with EPS of NT$1.48. Banking remained the core earnings engine, while non-bank subsidiaries lifted their contribution to 27%. Hua Nan Bank’s seven-month profit rose 15% to NT$16.2 billion, supported by improved margins, wealth-management fee income above NT$10 billion and stronger overseas earnings. Hua Nan Securities’ profit rose 285% and Hua Nan Insurance’s increased 38%. The group said cross-selling revenue rose 65% to NT$2.4 billion by the end of July and expects higher full-year earnings to support larger total dividends next year, with cash dividends remaining the priority. Hua Nan is also advancing AI and digital-transformation initiatives and remains open to mergers that improve long-term competitiveness, while prioritizing organic growth.
