On-chain data shows several high-volume crypto investors taking large positions across ETH, SOL and HYPE. Trader 0xedcd, tracked by Lookonchain, built a 20,000 ETH long near $1,936 that grew to about $50 million with more than $11 million in unrealized profit, then opened a 20x long of 100,000 SOL near $104.5, worth $10.45 million. Separately, Hyperliquid’s largest long trader reopened 16,000 ETH longs worth about $40 million at an average entry of $2,490 after closing 120,000 ETH and 2,000 BTC positions for a reported $61.72 million profit. The trader moved 26.83 million USDC through three new wallets, with two addresses each opening 8,000 ETH longs. Another whale or institution has accumulated and staked 4.67 million HYPE, valued near $381 million, for estimated unrealized profit of $74.4 million. Matrixport-linked wallets have also opened large leveraged ETH and BTC positions on Hyperliquid. The activity may influence short-term liquidity, funding rates and liquidation risk, although wallet links and trading intent are not always definitively confirmed.
