Blast Resources Inc. has appointed Andy Yackulic, P. Geo., to its board of directors, effective immediately. Yackulic, who most recently served as Vice President, Exploration at Denison Mines Corp. and previously spent about 12 years at Cameco Corporation, brings more than 20 years of uranium exploration and resource-development experience in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin. He has led programs with annual budgets exceeding $20 million, multidisciplinary technical teams and the exploration effort behind the high-grade Fox Lake uranium deposit. Blast said his experience will support exploration at its flagship Wales Lake Uranium Project, located near the Arrow and Triple R deposits in the Patterson Lake Corridor. Yackulic is a Professional Geoscientist registered with APEGS, holds a geology degree from the University of Saskatchewan, is completing an MBA at the Edwards School of Business and serves as a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.
