The NFL has signed multi-year commercial agreements with DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Betting and Gaming, restoring a sponsorship category that had been vacant since March 31. The deals provide rights to league marks, appearances at the Super Bowl and NFL Draft, and access to real-time play-by-play data, Next Gen Stats and BetVision through Genius Sports. Financial terms were not disclosed. The companies agreed to follow the NFL’s integrity policies and prohibit wagers involving officiating, injuries, bets knowable in advance or outcomes easily manipulated by one person. The agreements do not cover the partners’ prediction-market products. The NFL has held discussions with Kalshi, Polymarket and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission but is not expected to have a prediction-market deal when the season opens Sept. 9. The league has urged the CFTC to adopt integrity and consumer protections similar to those used in legalized sports betting, particularly for injury-related markets. Its prior five-year agreements with FanDuel, DraftKings and Caesars were worth close to $1 billion combined and expired after negotiations stalled over higher fees for official streaming data distributed through Genius Sports.
