OpenSea and Perplexity are integrating real-time transaction data from more than 25 blockchain networks into AI-powered market answers. The arrangement allows Perplexity’s AI agent to use OpenSea data to identify the most-traded tokens, assets generating market activity and other signals across tokens, collectibles and NFTs. OpenSea built an MCP server, a data-access protocol designed for AI, to support the integration. The companies say the approach replaces outdated price information with live, verifiable marketplace activity, potentially lowering barriers to market analysis for traders and developers by addressing fragmented onchain data. The OpenSea connector is available through Perplexity Computer’s Connectors page, with additional integrations expected as AI agents become more prominent in crypto-market discovery.
