The Los Angeles Rams acquired wide receiver Tutu Atwell from the Miami Dolphins on Thursday in exchange for running back Jarquez Hunter, with the deal pending physicals for both players. Atwell, 26, spent his first five seasons with the Rams before signing a one-year contract with his hometown Dolphins in March. He recorded six receptions for 192 yards and one touchdown in 10 games, including four starts, last season while missing time because of a hamstring injury. Atwell was inactive for two of Los Angeles' three playoff games. The Louisville product has 105 receptions for 1,535 yards and five touchdowns in 64 career games, including 27 starts, since Los Angeles selected him in the second round of the 2021 draft. Hunter, 23, played five games for the Rams as a rookie last season, all on special teams, after being selected in the fourth round out of Auburn. He led Los Angeles with 103 rushing yards on 21 carries and one touchdown in two preseason games this month.
