The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation has listed 21Shares’ Polkadot Staking ETF under the TDOT ticker after the fund’s August 27, 2026, rebrand from the 21Shares Polkadot ETF. TDOT holds spot DOT, stakes 40% to 95% through network validators, reports a 2.04% staking yield and charges a 0.30% management fee, with quarterly yield distributions. The Nasdaq-listed fund launched on March 6, 2026, as the first U.S. spot Polkadot ETF with approximately $11 million in seed capital, although assets under management were between $7.5 million and $7.9 million by late August. More than 900 million DOT is staked across the network at an average reward rate of 2.8%, and Chainspect ranks Polkadot ahead of TON and Avalanche by Nakamoto Coefficient. However, DOT fell from $1.02 on August 22 to $0.8424 and below its 50-day EMA, while Kraken’s planned HDX delisting and other ecosystem developments underscore the gap between network progress and token demand.
