CStone Pharmaceuticals reported 100% complete and objective response rates in a Phase 1b combination trial of CS5001, an antibody-drug conjugate, in 31 first-line diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients. Patients received 40 to 90 micrograms per kilogram of CS5001 with R-CHOP, and complete responses were observed across all dose cohorts. CStone has paused the trial to review efficacy and safety data and determine the appropriate dose and dosing interval before proceeding. CS5001 combines ABL Bio’s ROR1 antibody with Ligachem Biosciences’ ADC platform and was licensed to CStone in 2020 for approximately 400 billion won; the latest announcement values the deal at about $290.1 million, compared with approximately $288 million in the existing report. ABL Bio is also advancing 10 global clinical pipeline projects, including ABL301, ABL001 and ABL111.
