Duality Biologics (09606.HK) announced on Aug. 28, 2026, that it had entered a global collaboration and license agreement with Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, to develop antibody-drug conjugates using DualityBio's proprietary DUPAC platform. The platform uses payloads with mechanisms distinct from the topoisomerase inhibitor-based therapies in leading ADCs such as Enhertu and Trodelvy, targeting cancers that have become resistant or refractory to that treatment class. DualityBio will lead discovery and early global clinical development against oncology targets selected by Genentech, which holds an exclusive worldwide license and will assume sole responsibility for further development and commercialization after Phase 1a. The agreement includes a $45 million upfront payment, more than $1 billion in potential development, regulatory and commercial milestones across all programs, and tiered royalties on annual net sales of approved products. DualityBio plans to file next year for human testing of a TA-MUC1-targeting DUP9 ADC.
