CCC on BNB Smart Chain (BSC) suffered an estimated $117,000 exploit after an attacker manipulated the token contract’s sell() function to burn CCC held in its liquidity provider pair, TenArmorAlert reported on Aug. 28. The burn altered pool balances and triggered abnormal price movement. The firm flagged an attack transaction starting 0x89d805064 but has not released a full attack sequence, access-path analysis, post-mortem, fund recovery plan, or compensation proposal, and it did not name the decentralized exchange hosting the pool.
