Hyperliquid’s largest long trader has rebuilt a 16,000 ETH long worth about $40 million at an average entry of $2,490, three days after closing 120,000 ETH and 2,000 BTC longs for a reported $61.72 million profit. EmberCN said the trader sent 26.83 million USDC to Hyperliquid through three new wallets, with two addresses each opening 8,000 ETH longs while the third stayed inactive. The fresh exposure sits near the middle of Ethereum’s recent $2,400–$2,600 range. The activity aligns with a broader pattern of Matrixport-linked wallets funding large, highly leveraged ETH and BTC positions on Hyperliquid, including a new wallet that deposited $10 million in USDC and opened a $17.44 million ETH long at 20x leverage, according to Hypurrscan. Large leveraged positions can sway short-term liquidity and raise liquidation risk for other traders.
