OKX Director Lennix said at a Bitcoin Asia 2026 roundtable on Aug. 28 that financial products are moving toward a shared account framework, allowing users to trade and manage crypto, traditional stocks, foreign exchange and commodities with common funds, margin and risk controls. He said building such a financial super app requires coordination among banking systems, wallets, trading accounts and compliance infrastructure. Lennix also described stock tokenization, or representing traditional shares as digital tokens, as an upgrade to existing markets that could extend trading and risk management beyond conventional market hours. He cited Intercontinental Exchange's strategic investment in OKX Group as a sign of the industry's movement toward tokenized assets and around-the-clock trading, adding that stock tokenization could become an important area of future financial-market development.
