SK Group (034730.KS) will donate 2 billion won ($1.4 million) to the Community Chest of Korea for recovery efforts and relief for flood victims in southern regions including Geoje and Tongyeong. The money will help restore damaged areas and support displaced residents returning to daily life. SK hynix (000660.KS) supplied 630 volunteer kits on the 26th through its annual High Safety program. SK Telecom (017670.KS) has provided charging booths, portable batteries, telecommunications facilities and relief supplies at two Geoje shelters since the 18th, while SK Broadband installed Wi-Fi and IPTV service at Okpo Elementary School. An SK Group official said the group would pursue further recovery support activities.
