The Bitwise XRP ETF drew a reported $15.4 million from client subscriptions as XRP traded near $1.40, extending demand for regulated exposure after the token retreated into the $1.30 area. The inflow reflects investor subscriptions that can require the fund to hold more spot XRP, not a discretionary corporate purchase by Bitwise. Seven U.S. spot XRP funds reached $1.57 billion in cumulative net inflows by August 24, with Bitwise leading the category at $542 million. Earlier in the August rally, XRP rose 43.7% in one week amid strong South Korean trading and U.S. ETF inflows of $77.47 million, while clients of Bitwise and Franklin products were also reported to have bought a combined $18.47 million of XRP. Existing XRP ETF funds recorded daily inflows across two consecutive trading weeks, and Bitwise posted heavy trading activity, including $125 million in single-day volume on August 20. Despite continued creations, spot selling, leverage, and broader market flows kept near-term price action uneven between roughly $1.30 and $1.40, leaving attention on whether sustained inflows can absorb competing supply.
