The National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK) will more than double its inclusive finance supply to ₩1 trillion (approximately $727.9 million) annually from about ₩459.8 billion (approximately $334.7 million) at the end of last year. The plan includes preferential refinancing for mid-to-low credit borrowers with high-interest loans, a mid-rate emergency living-stabilization loan, and expanded online distribution of Saitdol and Sunshine Loans. NACUFOK will also establish a ₩50 billion (approximately $36.4 million) support fund for principal preservation and interest subsidies, with plans to cover about 50% of credit union losses based on product-specific default rates.
