Amazon Web Services is investing more than $500 million, or about 700 billion won, in education, tools and certifications for college students worldwide through programs including Student Rewards. Unveiled on the 28th within the AWS Builder Center, the program is open to students aged 18 or older enrolled in degree or professional certification programs at universities and equivalent two-to-four-year higher education institutions. Students can verify enrollment through SheerID and receive benefits worth up to $579, including a 12-month premium Skill Builder subscription, AWS credits and an exam voucher for either the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification. Benefits increase with Builder Center activity, helping students learn cloud and AI technologies, build projects and connect with other developers.
