Hyperliquid Strategies’ shares rose almost 18% to $13.59 after the company reported $305.5 million in net income for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The Nasdaq-listed treasury company raised $646.6 million through an equity facility, or about $647 million, and increased its HYPE holdings from 12.5 million tokens to 29.3 million. Its HYPE position was valued at about $1.9 billion at June 30, when the token traded at $65.04, while unrealized HYPE gains contributed $709.9 million to earnings. Since June 30, the company has spent $773.4 million to acquire roughly 16.5 million additional HYPE tokens at an average price of $46.77, leaving $132.6 million in cash as of Aug. 19. CEO David Schamis said most value created is returned to HYPE holders through programmatic buybacks. President Donald Trump said at an Aug. 19 press conference that CFTC Chairman Mike Selig is working to bring Hyperliquid into the U.S. in a fully compliant way. Hyperliquid’s share of global perpetual futures volume reached 9.4% at June 30, while its share of decentralized perpetuals open interest reached 63% by Aug. 23. PURR shares were up 5.03% at $12.19 on Friday, but technical indicators showed an extended rally, with the stock 56.4% above its 20-day SMA and an RSI of 83.97.
