Sanctum has become Solana’s largest protocol by total value locked, with approximately 18 million SOL staked through its liquid staking infrastructure and TVL of roughly $1.93 billion as of Aug. 28, according to DeFiLlama. Its TVL rose 52.1% over the previous 30 days, placing it ahead of Jupiter and every other on-chain protocol on Solana. The milestone extends growth from 15.44 million SOL at the end of Q1 2026 to a reported Q2 peak of 16.64 million SOL, a 7.8% quarterly increase. Sanctum now accounts for 2.72% of circulating SOL, up from 2.02% a year earlier. Its Infinity pool aggregates liquidity across hundreds of validator-specific liquid staking tokens, while the INF token had 42,128 holders as of Aug. 28. The growth has not translated directly into revenue: Q2 2026 revenue fell 39.7% quarter over quarter to $880,000. Sanctum is also expanding beyond staking infrastructure through Sanctum Gateway, a transaction delivery and optimization layer, and a mobile app launched in July 2026 that attracted more than 9,000 users shortly after launch.
