Klarna shares rose 6.64% to $14.94 as of publication, tracking a 7.76% gain in Affirm after the buy-now-pay-later company reported fourth-quarter results above expectations and issued stronger-than-expected first-quarter revenue guidance. Affirm posted earnings of $4.62 per share and revenue of $1.17 billion, while gross merchandise volume increased 35% to $11.6 billion and transactions rose 45% to 45 million. Klarna’s move follows a roughly 20% decline on August 18 after its second-quarter report and below-consensus fiscal-year 2026 sales guidance. The company has also disclosed approximately $10 million of insider buying by CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski, adding to purchases by Chairman Michael Moritz and Chief Product & Design Officer David Fock.
