User @cb_doge shared a screenshot of the transaction on X. The purchase used Grok Bot’s Stripe Link integration and a single-use virtual card or payment token rather than the buyer’s primary card, making it one of the first publicly documented high-value purchases completed by an AI through live integrations and APIs. Stripe introduced its wallet for agents infrastructure in April 2026 to let AI systems transact without directly handling sensitive financial information. Grok Bot does not access users’ stored payment methods, passwords, or two-factor authentication details, and every transaction requires human approval.
