U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $201.81 million in net outflows on Aug. 28, ending a nine-session inflow streak that had drawn $3.044 billion since Aug. 17, as Bitcoin fell from above $81,000 to $76,888 after hawkish Jackson Hole remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh. Combined U.S. spot crypto ETFs recorded a $51.11 million net outflow as Bitcoin withdrawals outweighed inflows into Ether, XRP, Solana and Hyperliquid products. Spot Ether ETFs extended their buying run to 10 sessions with $102.18 million in net inflows, led by BlackRock’s ETHA at $83.79 million. BlackRock’s share of flows deepened: IBIT took about 75.4% of the nine-session Bitcoin ETF inflow total, while ETHA absorbed $1.02 billion, or 72%, of recent Ether category inflows. Weekly Ether ETF inflows of about $713 million closed in on Bitcoin ETFs’ $884 million, and market participants are watching further outflows and whether Bitcoin can defend $77,000.
