Solana approved SGP-0002 with 176.29 million SOL voting in favor after Kraken and Galaxy moved toward support late in the process. The mandate could reduce SOL issuance by about 18.9 million tokens over six years, but no changes take effect yet. SIMD-0550 still requires implementation and activation before the approved measure becomes operative.
