Niutech Technology Group Co., Ltd. has signed a sales contract with a global energy major to supply an industrial continuous production line for waste-plastic pyrolysis. Based on Niutech's proprietary technology, each unit can process 10,000 to 50,000 tons of plastic waste annually and will upgrade one of the customer's large refineries. The project is designed to create an integrated process from plastic-waste pyrolysis oil to hydrotreated Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The agreement marks Niutech's first entry into the customer's supply chain. The company says its technology can process low-value PP, PE, PS, ABS and nylon, separately or in mixed streams, without extensive washing, sorting or drying. Its waste-plastic pyrolysis systems have been commercially deployed in the United Kingdom, South Korea, Denmark, Thailand, Vietnam and China, amid rising demand for alternative SAF feedstocks as used cooking oil supplies remain limited.
