U.S. fund filings dated Aug. 27–28, 2026 have renewed attention on ProShares XRP ETF products and the Cyber Hornet S&P 500 & XRP 75/25 Strategy ETF. The filings are not a new SEC approval, but show XRP appearing across multiple U.S. fund structures. ProShares Trust’s Rule 24f-2 notice lists the ProShares XRP ETF (series S000091571) and ProShares Ultra XRP ETF (series S000091573, ticker UXRP) as registered series. UXRP is already live, launched in mid-July 2025, targets twice the daily Bloomberg XRP Index through futures and swaps, does not hold spot XRP, and charges a 1.67% expense ratio. Its recent AUM snapshots are between $40 million and $55 million, while its NAV was near $15.83 on Aug. 28 after a sharp down day. The unlevered ProShares XRP ETF remains marked as pending by several trackers. A Morningstar Funds Trust post-effective amendment filed Aug. 28 identifies the Cyber Hornet strategy under Securities Act file 333-216479, PEA No. 15. The fund began on Jan. 30, 2026, had a NAV of about $22.08 on Aug. 27, held direct XRP at roughly 25.7% alongside NVDA, AAPL, MSFT and AMZN, and had approximately $0.55 million in AUM. Across the broader XRP ETF complex, 21Shares moved TOXR to FTSE pricing as AUM surpassed $1.44 billion; Canary contributed $5.12 million, cumulative figures approached $483 million, and historical net inflows reached about $1.66 billion. The developments come as a prominent crypto analyst says Ripple, XRPL and XRP are compliant with the CLARITY Act, with Senate cloture targeted for Sept. 15. Standard Chartered has modeled an additional $4 billion to $8 billion of XRP ETF inflows if market-structure clarity is confirmed. Ripple’s next 1 billion XRP escrow unlock is scheduled for Sept. 1. UXRP and other 2x funds reset exposure daily and are designed as trading tools rather than long-term holdings. Binance XRP leverage reached $0.213, a seven-month high, after a 44% rally, while open interest reached $3.4 billion and was concentrated on the long side. Ripple is also preparing to shut down the XRPL native bridge and remove more than 10,000 lines of dead code. XRP traded between $1.38 and $1.46 heading into the weekend after nearing $1 earlier in August. The Sept. 1 escrow unlock and Sept. 15 CLARITY Act cloture vote are the nearest cited catalysts for the trading range.
