BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) recorded approximately $1.02 billion in net inflows across nine consecutive U.S. trading sessions from August 17 to August 27, receiving positive flows every day. The fund represented about 72% of the roughly $1.42 billion invested across U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs during the period. Buying continued on August 28, when spot Ethereum ETFs took in $102.1 million, including $83.8 million for ETHA. The trend contrasted with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which saw approximately $202 million in net outflows and ended a nine-session inflow streak. Ethereum was trading around $2,435.95, down 2.77% over 24 hours, after a sharp recovery from below $1,900 toward $2,500. The sustained ETF demand points to continued institutional interest, although ETF flows alone do not determine short-term prices, which remain sensitive to derivatives positioning, macroeconomic expectations, liquidity and broader risk sentiment.
