Bitcoin wallets inactive for more than a decade moved around $40 million between August 16 and 26, 2026. The wallets were last active between 2011 and 2014, and one had remained dormant for 15 years. An earlier record identified a 40 BTC transfer, valued at about $3.14 million, to Boerse Stuttgart Digital, with the coins originally acquired when Bitcoin traded at only a few dollars.
