The Jacksonville Jaguars are acquiring second-year quarterback Quinn Ewers from the Miami Dolphins for a sixth-round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft, according to multiple reports and ESPN. Ewers, 23, was Miami’s seventh-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft and played in four games last season, making three starts. He completed a campaign with 622 passing yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions for an 85.5 passer rating. The Texas product adds depth behind Jaguars starter Trevor Lawrence. Jacksonville’s other quarterbacks are veteran Nick Mullens, Carter Bradley and Joey Aguilar; Mullens, 31, has a 5-15 record as a starter, while Bradley and Aguilar have not played an NFL regular-season snap. Miami’s remaining quarterbacks are offseason acquisition Malik Willis, Cam Miller and Mark Gronowski.
