Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, exactly 10 months after launch, making Solana the third cryptocurrency with a billion-dollar ETF product alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum. Most of the inflows arrived during a bear market, reflecting sustained institutional conviction. Solana ETFs collectively hold about $1.43 billion in net assets. SOL has jumped 46% in August, climbing roughly 80% above its June low and trading above $100 with a market capitalization exceeding $60 billion. Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley noted that Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana are the only three crypto assets with ETFs that have grown beyond $1 billion. The milestone strengthens liquidity and could attract larger institutional allocators through conventional brokerage accounts. Charles Schwab plans to add spot trading for Solana, Avalanche and Chainlink to Schwab Crypto in the coming months, which oversees more than $12 trillion in client assets across roughly 39 million accounts. For Bitwise, the $1 billion mark is notable because the capital entered under pressure, and with SOL’s recovery those flows now appear to reflect a sustained institutional allocation.
