DB Securities raised its price target for Samsung Electro-Mechanics to 2 million won from 1.5 million won and retained its Buy rating, citing rising prices for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and flip-chip ball grid array (FC-BGA) substrates. The revised target implies 37.2% upside from the previous session’s close of 1.458 million won, or about $1,100. The brokerage expects supply constraints, limited server-grade production capacity and expanding AI data-center investment to strengthen suppliers’ pricing power and lift earnings. It forecasts third-quarter operating profit of 621 billion won and revenue of 3.841 trillion won, while full-year operating profit is projected at 1.941 trillion won, rising to 3.921 trillion won next year.
