Trader DonAlt, who identified XRP’s major 2024–2025 rally early, says Ethereum has one of cryptocurrency’s clearest technical setups after consolidating above $2,400. ETH traded around $2,455-$2,460 on Aug. 30, up roughly 30% from the $1,880 area where DonAlt began building a position around Aug. 13. He identifies $2,816 as the next major resistance, implying about 14% upside from roughly $2,460, while a loss of $2,400 would weaken the breakout. The move was accompanied by $220.77 million in U.S. spot ETF inflows. DonAlt’s shift toward Ethereum comes after XRP reached about $3.66 in July 2025, following his earlier framework around $1.20, $2.90 and $6.90. XRP later rose 43.7% over seven days through Aug. 26 before retreating to around $1.39, but U.S. spot XRP ETFs still recorded $110.49 million in inflows in the week ending Aug. 28, taking cumulative inflows to roughly $1.66 billion.
