The reversal marked Pump.fun’s first monthly lead since April 2025 and ended a streak described in earlier reporting as 15 months and in the newer update as 16 months. DeFiLlama data had already shown Pump.fun ahead in 30-day protocol revenue on Aug. 9, 2026, at $33.73 million versus Hyperliquid’s $32.73 million. By late August, Pump.fun’s reported lifetime revenue reached $1.23 billion-$1.26 billion, above Hyperliquid’s approximately $1.19 billion, while its mobile app exceeded $50 million in daily trading volume.
