Hyundai Motor Group has appointed Hong Eun-hee, a former bp executive, as vice president and head of its HMG Energy & Hydrogen Business Division. Hong spent 18 years at the British global energy company, working across oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen and ammonia, and from 2023 led bp’s global hydrogen business development organization. Her predecessor, Vice President Ken Ramirez, stepped down voluntarily for personal reasons, according to sources. Hyundai said Hong’s deal-making experience, execution capabilities and international network will support global expansion and commercialization of its energy and hydrogen operations. The group plans to strengthen strategy, business development, investment reviews and partnerships as it responds to changes in the energy system.
