CHINT presented an integrated portfolio of power technologies at CIGRE 2026 in Paris on Aug. 31, 2026, targeting Europe’s changing electricity needs. Its offering included power transformers, medium- and high-voltage switchgear, substations, energy storage and data-center power systems. Featured products included 1,000 kV low-loss, low-noise oil-immersed transformers, 750 kV natural ester oil-immersed transformers, and SF₆-free medium- and high-voltage switchgear with 24 kV, 145 kV and 420 kV gas-insulated switchgear. CHINT also displayed a 13.8 MW PCS Integrated Substation designed for large-scale storage and renewable-energy applications, alongside cascading storage systems, solid-state transformers, solid-state circuit breakers and Data Center Power Pods. The company said its turnkey, easy-installation architecture can reduce site work and space needs, while its integrated and oil-free design supports lower losses and reduces risks linked to leakage, pollution and noise. CHINT said it is combining global engineering capabilities with local European teams and services. Executives highlighted modular, rapid-deployment power infrastructure for data centers, including battery storage integrated into substation packages to address peak-demand management and frequency-response requirements. Engineering specialists discussed transmission, substation modernization, sustainable distribution, storage and data-center power with utilities, EPC contractors, consultants and technology partners. A CHINT customer described the company as a reliable and capable partner for practical, scalable and long-term power projects.
