Musinsa posted record first-half consolidated revenue of 821.7 billion won ($598.5 million), up 22.5% from a year earlier, driven by South Korean store expansion and rapid overseas growth. Second-quarter revenue rose 21.3% to 458.1 billion won despite the seasonal off-peak period. The company opened 12 offline stores in the quarter, while Musinsa Standard's 41 domestic stores increased sales 64% and attracted more than 10 million visitors. Musinsa Global Store transaction volume jumped more than 143% across 13 regions, and first-half export revenue rose ninefold to 37.2 billion won. Consolidated operating profit fell 11.2% to 52.3 billion won as raw-material, labor and selling, general and administrative costs increased. Musinsa recorded a 15.6 billion won net loss, which it attributed to non-cash interest expenses from treating redeemable convertible preferred shares as debt. The company plans further domestic and international store openings, including a two-week Osaka pop-up in October and permanent Japanese retail ambitions by 2027.
