Producer-price trends diverged in Hungary and Luxembourg in July 2026. Hungary’s producer prices increased 1.0% year-on-year, reversing a 0.4% decline in June and recording their strongest annual rise since March. Luxembourg’s producer prices fell 2.1% year-on-year, easing from a 3.2% decline in June and marking the mildest annual decline since September 2025. Monthly producer prices rose 1.4% in Hungary and 1.3% in Luxembourg, up from 0.1% and 0.4%, respectively, in June. Hungary’s domestic-output prices accelerated, while Luxembourg saw slower consumer-goods deflation and stronger intermediate- and capital-goods prices but deeper energy-goods deflation.
