Binance will end BounceBit (BB) deposits and withdrawals on the BounceBit mainnet and shift those services to BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) after BounceBit permanently shut down its chain following a hacking incident. Mainnet deposits and withdrawals were suspended at 2:00 a.m. UTC on Aug. 20, 2026, while BSC-based BB deposits and withdrawals are scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. UTC on Sept. 1, 2026. BB will migrate to BNB Smart Chain at a 1:1 ratio so user balances are unchanged, with transfers handled through a new BEP20 smart contract. Binance said it will complete the technical conversion for users, and spot, margin, and futures trading for BB, as well as Binance Earn, will not be affected. Users are advised to select the correct network once BSC transfers reopen, as BounceBit mainnet will no longer be supported.
