In Türkiye, unemployment increased to 2.86 million, employment fell to 32.36 million and youth unemployment reached 14.5%; in Austria, 311,400 people were reported unemployed in August, up from 298,900 in July, while construction unemployment rose 6% year-on-year. The differing country, reporting month and methodologies should be retained rather than treated as one labor-market release.
