Nevada King Gold Corp. secured a fourth drill rig for its 100%-owned, 130km² Atlanta Gold Mine Project in southeast Nevada and identified the previously undrilled Splay Zone immediately north and east of the Atlanta pit. A second Rotary Air Blast (RAB) rig is expected on site in September, bringing the fleet to four, including two reverse circulation (RC) rigs. The company has completed approximately 20,000 metres of its 40,000-metre Phase 4 RC program. Road construction at Atlanta South is complete, allowing RC drilling to begin, while access work will next move to East Ridge. The Splay Zone covers roughly 500 metres by 300 metres and is interpreted as part of the same mineralizing system as the East Ridge Target and the Atlanta Resource Zone. Nevada King plans initial RAB testing to a maximum depth of 30 metres, followed by deeper RC drilling once access is available; East Ridge RC drilling is anticipated in Q4. The project contains a pit-constrained measured and indicated oxide resource of 1,020koz of gold and an inferred resource of 99koz, based on US$2,200 per ounce gold and US$25 per ounce silver.
