UBS upgraded Kaiser Aluminum to Buy from Neutral and raised its price target to $184 from $179, implying nearly 18% upside from Friday’s close. Analyst Alex Stansbury cited improving earnings power, scrap-market support, investments at Warrick and Trentwood, and the end of aerospace inventory reductions as production rates accelerate. Kaiser shares gained nearly 3% Monday but were down 13% over three months, or 14% according to a separate chart, amid trade-related headwinds and a leadership shakeup, and remained roughly 20% below their $199.89 52-week high reached Aug. 12. The broader research-call list compiled by The Fly also included Baird upgrades for Deere and AGCO, Argus and Baird upgrades for Abercrombie & Fitch and Stag Industrial, downgrades for several California utilities and other companies, and new coverage initiations across technology, biotechnology and ticketing.
