MEXC reported a sharp increase in Spot trading (buying and selling assets immediately) as BTC topped $80,000 and ETH and SOL reached nearly six-month highs. From August 20 to 22, the average daily Spot volume of BTC, ETH, SOL and XRP rose approximately 299% from the August 1-17 daily average. Combined average daily volume for ETH, SOL and XRP exceeded BTC's during that period, marking a shift from the earlier BTC-dominated trading mix. The change began on August 19, when the three assets' combined share rose to 46.7% from 30.5% the previous day and stayed above the 34.9% baseline for August 1-17. On August 25, BTC volume was approximately 164% above the earlier daily average, while ETH rose 220% and SOL and XRP each gained approximately 500%. On August 27, ETH and SOL volumes increased 36.3% and 109.7%, respectively, with the pair accounting for 46.4% of the four assets' combined volume. MEXC said it offers 0-fee trading on selected SOL Spot pairs and all XRP Spot pairs, alongside deep liquidity. The exchange says it serves more than 40 million users across 170+ markets and offers more than 3,000 digital assets.
