Fomo reached the top five U.S. finance apps on Apple’s App Store on August 21, briefly climbing to third place ahead of Cash App and prediction-market rival Kalshi before settling among the top 15. The crypto-native app has more than 600,000 users, processed over $4 billion in trading volume and surpassed one million Google Play installs. Founded by Paul Erlanger and Se Yong Park, Fomo launched its public beta in May 2025. Benchmark led its $17 million Series A in November 2025 after the founders assembled a wishlist of 200 angel investors, 140 of whom invested, followed by a $75 million Series B that brought total disclosed equity funding to roughly $94 million. Fomo lets users view followed traders’ activity in real time, track leaderboards and copy trading signals, with funds added instantly through Apple Pay. It supports Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Monad and Robinhood Chain. Its growth has coincided with Robinhood Chain, Robinhood’s layer-2 network, launching its public mainnet on July 1, as social-trading applications seek to make crypto trading more accessible to retail users.
