HyperLend founder Ness said the Hyperliquid-based lending protocol will continue operating even if Hyperliquid introduces its own lending feature. HyperLend offers loans backed by multiple cryptocurrencies and plans to add stocks and commodities as eligible collateral. The protocol has generated more than $2 billion in loan volume since launch. Its institutional service Aviya is planned to offer fixed-rate on-chain lending in a compliant environment, with collateral support expanding to high-yield bonds and securities.
