Cardano has moved from pilot projects into production-scale enterprise use as the public cryptographic verification layer for Blockforce’s supply-chain platform, with more than 500,000 production records already anchored and signed contracts covering 6.5 million certified records through 2030. The dual-ledger design keeps commercial data on a permissioned Hyperledger Fabric network while publishing cryptographic proofs on Cardano so auditors and regulators can check integrity without seeing supplier identities, prices or contracts. Joint engineering with Blockforce’s uVerify batching cut reported public anchoring costs per record by 92%, according to the partners, a reduction they say unlocked enterprise volumes, though the figure has not been independently audited. Azzas 2154, Latin America’s largest fashion group after the Arezzo&Co and Grupo Soma merger, uses the system to build leather product histories from fiscal documents, supplier records and government databases, aiming for full leather traceability across its brands by 2030. The architecture is positioned for expansion into automotive, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics and could support verification needs tied to European Digital Product Passport rules without claiming automatic regulatory compliance.
