Broadcom used VMware Explore 2026 in Las Vegas to launch VMware Private AI Cloud, a software-defined platform for AI inference, agentic applications and traditional enterprise workloads on customer-owned infrastructure. VMware AI Factory automates deployment and lifecycle management, supports more than 150 open-source and commercial models, and runs with Nvidia and AMD accelerators, including AMD Instinct MI350 series GPUs with ROCm, on certified servers from Cisco, Dell Technologies, Supermicro and Lenovo. Broadcom also introduced AgentMinder for agent authorization and chain-of-custody oversight, alongside VMware vDefend, VMware Avi Load Balancer, Tanzu upgrades and TrueSource Trusted Artifacts. Broadcom shares fell 1.25% to $365.70 in Tuesday premarket trading as technology stocks weakened, after closing down 0.08% on Monday. Fiscal third-quarter 2026 results are due after the market closes on Wednesday, September 2; cited estimates range from $3.16 to $3.22 in adjusted EPS and from $29.24 billion to $29.44 billion in revenue.
