Silver climbed 1.34% from the previous day to $66.752 an ounce, rising more than 1% during intraday trading. Gold gained 0.24% to $4,443.3 an ounce. Oil prices extended their advance, with West Texas Intermediate crude up 0.99% at $86.33 a barrel and Brent crude 1.15% higher at $92.32.
