Kuaishou Technology said Beijing Kling, the group’s AI video-generation subsidiary, added the National AI Industry Investment Fund and Charoen Pokphand Robot as investors under its July capital increase framework. The two investors will contribute RMB1.4 billion and about $19.29 million, respectively, using the previously established subscription cap rather than launching a new financing round. Beijing Kling’s registered capital will rise from RMB10 million to approximately RMB96.1759 million, while Kuaishou will retain about 68.33% ownership. The National AI Industry Investment Fund will hold 1.14% and Charoen Pokphand Robot about 0.11%. If subscriptions and equity incentives are fully exercised, Kling’s post-money valuation would reach approximately $18 billion, broadly matching Kuaishou’s market capitalization at Aug. 31. Kling’s quarterly revenue exceeded RMB850 million in the second quarter of 2026, while global users surpassed 100 million by June. Investors have repurchase rights carrying 8% simple annual interest if Beijing Kling does not complete an IPO before Oct. 30, 2031.
