Ecopetrol said Colombia’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, acting for the Nation as the company’s majority shareholder, requested an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting scheduled for September 15, 2026, and announced measures intended to ensure proper shareholder representation. The meeting will consider a Board of Directors slate naming César Eduardo Loza Arenas for seat 7, Ricardo Rodríguez Yee for seat 8 and Luis Felipe Henao Cardona for seat 9. Ecopetrol said all applicable corporate procedures have been completed and that notice of the forthcoming meeting was published through the same channel.
