Helium Network has integrated Celina, Texas’ existing municipal Wi-Fi into its decentralized wireless network as the city adds residents and expands public connectivity. Celina grew 24.6% year over year, gaining more than 12,700 residents between July 2024 and July 2025, and the deployment covers locations including the public library and senior center. The brownfield deployment uses existing Wi-Fi infrastructure without requiring new towers and currently processes about 100 GB of data daily across the participating sites. HNT rose from around $0.21 to approximately $0.44 after the announcement, while daily trading volume increased more than 1,000% to between $38 million and $44 million. Helium says its network operates across more than 42,000 U.S. locations and serves over 2.5 million daily users. The network has data-offload partnerships with telecom operators including AT&T, migrated from its own Layer 1 blockchain to Solana in April 2023, and has about 186 million HNT in circulation against a maximum supply of 223 million. Earlier reporting cited a sharper HNT increase to $0.73 and a $137.9 million valuation, creating a discrepancy between market snapshots.
