Solana’s native token SOL is the best-performing cryptocurrency among the top 10 by weekly performance, gaining 9% to about $103, according to CoinGecko. The token closed the previous week near $102.80, its highest weekly close in seven months, according to X user Ash Crypto. Institutional demand has also strengthened: SoSoValue data show spot SOL ETFs have recorded nine consecutive green days, the longest such run since May this year. Products from Bitwise, Fidelity, Grayscale, VanEck and Franklin Templeton are among those available, with Bitwise’s BSOL surpassing $1 billion in assets under management. Market participants have identified $120 as a potential next level, although one forecast calls for a subsequent decline toward $80. September has historically been favorable for SOL, with positive returns in five of the past six years; the exception was September 2020, when the token fell almost 40%.
